Crafted in a Northern New Mexico workshop, the custom handmade interior doors and classic mountain hardware chosen for cabinets and interior doors reflects the philosophy of timeless design. Likewise the European-crafted mahogany windows and doors were built in workshops that have provided windows and doors to fine homes for more than 80 years.
The European flair of the handmade light fixtures is actually the product of modern craftsmen. Custom-designed for the Villas at Cortina, the fixtures were created by master metalworkers. The finishes of the Villas recall the age before mass-produced products, when a fine home was the product of artisans and craftsmen on site. The flooring in the living areas seamlessly melds the old with the new, including reclaimed and re-lifed woods, Pennsylvania Bluestone, and wool blend carpets.
In the restrooms, features include the finest available products, including Waterworks fixtures, Rohl hardware, Carrera Marble, Bianchi Calcutta, Pennsylvania Bluestone, steam showers, and soaker tubs. Kitchen appliances include Wolf, Sub Zero, and Asko.
